WORK EXPERIENCE

DRESSMAKER [2016-2019]

Freelance Seamstress

  • Created custom and replica costume pieces and vintage reproduction items for variety of clients

  • For replica pieces, analyzed reference photos and material to recreate costume pieces as accurately as possible.

  • Built original patterns to clients’ measurements or specifications

  • Worked with a variety of materials and embellishment techniques to bring clients’ visions to life

  • Occasionally created original geek couture pieces for special events and conventions

COSTUME DESIGN/COORDINATION

  • Losing in Love, Dr. Martin Papazin (2017). Provided costume design and styling and set dressing assistance. 

  • A Hip Hop Nutcracker Spectacular, Culture Shock Dance Studio (2015-2016). Managed casts of nearly 140 people and over 200 individual costumes, styled and curated by me. ​
