An avant-garde piece inspired by the mother island goddess from Disney's Moana. This look was completely sewn by hand to give it as organic of a look as possible. The silhouette was designed with traditional Polynesian dress in mind, and the floral elements tied in the style of classic haku leis. The hand embroidered motifs were all drawn from the film's concept art, and a special homage my own Grandma Tala makes a secret appearance in the train.
